Dr. Milena Murgas, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Milena Murgas first had the inspiration to enter the field of dentistry as early as the age of 6 when visiting a children’s dental office back in her own country Colombia. Her passion and motivation let her pursue her dream and after high school attended the Metropolitan University where she earned her degree as a Dentist in 1999.

After serving the community in rural areas for one year, she understood people’s needs in the restorative field, and giving back a beautiful smile to them is the reward she always wanted as part of her philosophy. Soon after, she decided to continue her education in Prosthodontics and Dr. Murgas graduated as a specialist in Oral Rehabilitation in 2006.

After moving to Canada, Dr. Murgas started to work towards her Canadian license but in the process, she became a Dental Hygienist in 2015 and worked in the field for 5 years.

This experience motivated her and helped her to reinforce her love for dentistry and in 2020 was granted a chair at The University of Manitoba for the International Dental Degree Program (IDDP) and graduated as a Doctor in Dental Medicine in 2022.

Dr. Murgas enjoys working in all aspects of dentistry and she offers a wider range of services for all ages. In addition to general dentistry, she also offers full mouth restoration, crowns, complete and partial dentures, smile design, and teeth whitening, ensuring that her clients have a one-stop-shop for all their dental needs.

Dr. Robert Myers, M.Sc, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Myers received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the U.B.C. School of Dentistry in 1998. He began working in Fort St. John after graduation as an associate and soon after bought the Alaska Avenue Dental Clinic.

Dr. Myers has continued to upgrade and expand the practice and currently has Certified Specialists in Endodontics, Periodontics and Prosthodontics traveling to Fort St. John to provide advanced dental services for the local community.

Dr. Myers does complex and comprehensive 'new smile' treatment plans, and enjoys seeing the results in his patients. He also enjoys the complexities of endodontics. Dr. Myers takes pleasure in helping his patients achieve their ideals for dental health and appearance.

Prior to going into dentistry, Rob achieved his Masters in Developmental Biology from the University of Victoria, and worked as a research technician for the Winnipeg Cancer Foundation.
